Selah Grace Aiello

Wow I'm already pretty bad at committing to this blogging thing:) Shocker, I realize. I have to thank my dear friend Maria for getting me back on the wagon. She admitted at a BBQ we threw last night that she had not read our blog since I started it, funny... I hadn't updated it since then either. So, we've been a little busy..

As most everyone knows from our beaming smiles and tons of FB pix, we welcomed our beautiful daughter into this world on June 20, 2012. Happiest day of our lives, hands down. It was a one of a kind experience and it's true what they say. Most women forget the pain immediately and want to sign up again. HAH well we are not there by any means but, we shall see what God's plans are for our family. The day we held her in our arms was worth every tear we shed waiting for her. And like any other new parents, we think she is BEAUTIFUL and perfect and the most wonderful baby. God clearly knew what he was doing when he created her. We are having the time of our lives loving this sweet baby girl. We feel blessed beyond measure every time we hold her. In fact, we can't pick her up without giving her at least a dozen smooches each time. Our prayer for her life is that she brings glory to God above all, and blesses all who get the privilege to meet and know her. We're pretty proud of her, to say the least.

As I'm figuring out this blog..I will post stories, pix, vacations and all things Selah Aiello! Oh and we recognize there is some confusion over the pronunciation of her name. It's pronounced "Say La" and originates biblically in the book of Psalms. It is used as a musical pause to stop and reflect on what was just written in scripture before continuing on. We love that her full name means to stop and reflect on the gift of Grace. I will try my hardest to remember that "grace" when I'm yelling her full name during her teen years;)
